About Dominic Pillai

Dominic Pillai graduated with an LLB (Hons) from University of Malaya in 1995 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1996.

Dominic Pillai has nearly three decades of experience as a civil and commercial lawyer, including 20 years as a partner at Messrs Presgrave & Matthews, a prominent and long standing law firm in Penang.

In 2023, he took a bold step by founding his own boutique law firm. This strategic move enables him to offer clients highly personalized legal services tailored to each client’s unique needs. With this new venture, Dominic aims to create a more client-centric approach, ensuring that each client receives the dedicated attention and customized solutions they deserve. His firm is committed to excellence, focusing on providing high-quality legal representation and building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. By combining his vast expertise with a hands-on approach, Dominic is well-positioned to tackle complex legal issues and deliver outstanding results.

Dominic Pillai is assisted by Victoria Tan Yan Yi who is a member of King’s Inn, Ireland and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2024.
